Description
Under The Ashes (The Collection Of Radio Birdman/New Race Recordings)
Trafalgar/WEA LOC-999 - 1988 Australia
Very rare Australian-issued 1988 all-vinyl boxset of Radio Birdman and New Race recordings.
The set includes:
Burn My Eye - 12" EP
Radios Appear (Original Version) LP
Radios Appear (Overseas Version) LP w/ inner picture sleeve
Living Eyes LP w/ inner picture sleeve
More Fun! - 12" EP
Aloha Steve and Danno / Anglo Girl Desire 7"
New Race - The First and The Last LP w/ inner picture sleeve
Plus a typed letter "signed" by Deniz Tek giving his comments about the band. A 22" by 35" poster showing three different tour flyers. And a thing that you can sow on your jacket with the RB logo on it. All come in a 12" square red box with the Radio Birdman logo on the front and the box set name on the sides and back.
All records are in excellent condition. The cover of the box is ripped open on one corner. If I remember correctly that was already there when I bought it years ago.
New Race has Ron Asheton from the Stooges as guitarist and Dennis Thompson from the MC5 on drums. On the New Race record they cover Looking at You and Gotta Keep Movin' by the MC5. On other records you can hear Radio Birdman play TV Eye by the Stooges and You're Gonna Miss Me from Roky Erickson.
Shipping to Europe is 11.25 euro.
