Radio Dept – Lesser Matters album on Vinyl.
This is the excellent debut album by Swedens Radio Dept, released in 2003.
Massively well received on it’s release, this album transcends modest production with great songwriting and a brilliant grasp of how to create something fresh from their influences.
Much more than the sum of it’s parts, this album stands up well against any releases from the other so called neo Shoegaze bands that have been working over the past few years. In fact, this record stands up against material from the bands inspiration; My Bloody Valentine, Jesus and Mary Chain, New Order and The Cure.
Great indie pop with skuzzy guitars AND a real depth in songwriting – winner!
This is the rare vinyl version of the album.
Condition –
Sleeve – Excellent
The record cover is in excellent condition. The only mark is a tiny tear to the opening edge visible on the front cover.
Record – Excellent
This record has been played only a couple of times as I also bought the album on CD to listen to. There are no visible scratches to the record.
Strangely the record insert for side B is lifting but this obviously doesn’t effect play.
This record comes from my personal collection, reluctantly am starting to sell my collection to raise money and make space.
The record will be very well packaged in a record mailer with stiffeners to maintain the condition in transit.
