Description

Radiohead at Roskilde in 1994, caught in the gap between the band people thought they were and the band they were about to become. Pablo Honey was two years old, "Creep" had made them famous in a way they visibly resented, and the songs that would become The Bends were still being tested in front of festival crowds.

That tension is the whole appeal here. "Prove Yourself", "Ripcord" and "Anyone Can Play Guitar" get played harder and faster than the studio versions, while "My Iron Lung", "Bones" and the title track of the album still a year away arrive raw, without the polish they would later carry. "Maquiladora" and "Pop Is Dead" turn up too, the kind of B-sides that only ever really lived on stage. "Creep" is in there, played to a crowd that came for exactly that.

Pressed on green vinyl. A snapshot of a band on the edge of their second record, one for collectors who want the version before the reinvention.
