Radiohead Pablo Honey 1993 Reissue RARE UK Import Parlophone “Creep” EX/EX.
For auction is an excellent listeners copy of Pablo Honey by British alternative rock legends, Radiohead. Their debut studio album released in February 1993 in the UK and in April of the same year in the US. Upon its release, it had moderate commercial and critical success. It peaked at #22 on the UK chart and at #32 on the Billboard 200 in the US. The single, “Creep” gained global popularity and charted in all major markets. It hit the Top-10 in the UK peaking at #7, and the Top-40 in the US peaking at #34 on the Billboard Hot 100. Other popular songs on the album are, “Anyone Can Play Guitar” and “ Stop Whispering”. Pablo Honey is now considered a classic although it did not initially receive the same praise as some of the bands later records. This copy is a 1993 reissue that came out later the same year as the original press. The only difference is the “45” in the background of both labels that is not there on the 1st press. “COME TO FLORIDA!!” is etched into the side one matrix.
Vinyl is play graded EX. A couple of barely visible surface marks that are purely superficial. Plays with faint background noise if any. No skips or jumps! Please see pics.
Cover is also in EX condition. No major signs of wear. Would be NM if still in shrink. Original inner sleeve is missing and a clear poly inner is used to protect vinyl. Please see pics.
