Description
Pablo Honey is the first full-length studio album by English alternative rock band Radiohead. Originally released in 1993, it showcases the band in their earliest stages, blending anthemic, U2-inspired rock with long, atmospheric instrumental passages. Although easily categorized as "Brit-rock", influences more accurately include the Pixies, R.E.M., and The Smiths. I’m offering this mint (sealed) copy of Pablo Honey with Two EP’s from this early period in Radiohead’s career: “Drill” and “Creep”. These 12” 45RPM 180g EP’s are also in mint (sealed) condition!
The standout single "Creep" was the international hit that helped propel Radiohead and Pablo Honey to popular acclaim. Released several months before the album itself, "Creep" went on to define the band's early career. Also included on Pablo Honey are ethereal rocker "You", fan favorite "Thinking About You", and "Blow Out", all of which point to the band's future sonic manipulations. The songwriting is tight and the performances are solid. Soaring melodies and sing-along choruses abound. Pablo Honey sets the bar incredibly high for a band that had yet to develop musically, and it achieves a rare power that is both visceral and intelligent.

Drill was the first commercial release for Radiohead which was recorded in 1992. All tracks on the Drill EP are demo versions. "Prove Yourself", "Thinking About You" and "You" were re-recorded in 1993 for the full-length Pablo Honey album.
