Description
Radiohead - 'The Bends'. UK Parlophone True 1st Pressing, released in 1995. Parlophone ?– 7243 8 29626 1 8 / PCS 7372.
This is the extremely rare, original first UK pressing of this classic album, complete with picture sleeve and glossy inner sleeve. The very 1st UK pressing with NO Large pixelated 0% in lower left corner of the black & white side of the inner sleeve (simply a blank space in lieu of the 0% image). Note that all later copies had this image added to the inner; both the later 'early' matrix -1 stampings and to all matrix -2 re-pressings. Any copy with the '0%' on the inner is a later / re-press and not a true 1st Press. Very few copies of the 1st pressing were sold and are therefore now extremely hard to come by.
Both labels of the 1st press have the red pound symbols in black circles (on left, between TRADE and MARK) and include the text 'Manufactured in England by EMI Records Limited'. The picture sleeve is 'Printed in UK' and 'Manufactured and distributed by EMI'.
The vinyl is super shiny and clean. The outer picture sleeve has a little mild edge creasing to the spine and some edge wear. The glossy inner picture sleeve is in excellent condition.The labels are clean, with barely any sign of play.

Will be securely packaged in a mailer, using cardboard stiffeners. The vinyl will be housed separately in an anti-static sleeve, with the inner and outer sleeves placed in a pvc protective cover.
