Description
I'm starting to list a collection of about 200 lps and 45s put together by my wife between about 1969 and 1984. Few of these have been played more than 2 or 3 times as, generally, they were recorded to tape and then put away. About 75% are in Near Mint store bought condition and look as if they've just been purchased. They were usually bought within a few days of being issued so, not only are they in pristine condition, they're mostly first pressings. Plus the lps all have their original inner sleeves and any inserts. The collection has remained untouched in a cupboard at my wife's parents house since she moved out and got married in 1984. If I find any blemishes or faults with any of these records I will point them out. Even the slightest shelf wear is absent from many. If you require additional photos of anything please let me know.
This is a copy of the LP Down To Earth by Rainbow, UK first pressing from 1979 on Polydor POLD 5023.
The stamped matrix no.s are POLD5023 A // 2 v E420 and POLD5023 B // 1 v E420
The vinyl is in Near Mint condition with no visible scuffs or scratches. There is nothing that affects play. The labels are clean with no stickers, writing, scuffs, spindle marks or stains.
The matt cover is in Excellent condition. There are no tears, stains, stickers or writing. The spine is perfectly legible. The only blemishes I can find are a very faint crease close to the spine on the front, tiny scuffs to the corners of the spine and a few mms. of the colour chipped off the bottom edge.
The full colour photo thick paper inner sleeve is in Excellent condition with just a few very faint handling creases.
The white poly-lined paper inner inner sleeve just has the usual faint browning / ageing to the edges.
, a very nice copy of a 33 year old record.
Comes from a smoke free home.
I ship in purpose-made strong cardboard mailers and I'm happy to combine multiple purchases in one parcel to save on shipping costs.
