Basquiat , Beat Bop is a significant artifact of late 20th Century American culture. The matrix is about 2". The records plays at 45 rpm.

I've had this record for over 20 years.  Back in the day it was purchased from an East Village record store called Free Being.

It's been played once and is in near mint plus condition.

The cover has minute wear around the tips and edges but does not the affect artwork on front and back.

The original pressings were declared the most expensive hip hop

record of all time, with an established price of $1000 by Ego Trip's Book of Rap Lists due to the fact that Basquiat designed the cover. 

This is the original version featuring Basquiat's rhyme verse that was excised before the final mix due to some disagreement between Basquiat and Rammelzee
