Description

Original deep-groove pressing of Randy Weston and Lem Winchester New Faces at Newport on MetroJazz E1005. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once or twice. The cover has light ring wear on the front; ½" wear at the opening and 1 ½" center split on the bottom seam; age toning around edges; small writing on left margin of the back. These are the first recordings by Lem Winchester. The recording consists of four tracks by the Randy Weston Trio and three tracks by the Lem Winchester Quartet.
