Randy Weston Trio New Faces at Newport One-Sided Test Pressing LP Vinyl Record (Metrojazz). A vintage 12-inch test pressing for the Randy Weston Trio's side of the 1958 split album. This specific album was auctioned by Heritage Auctions in Dec 2024 and was identified as jazz historian/writer Ira Gitler's personal copy. This is a one-sided release only has "Hi-Fly," "Bantu Suite," and "Beef Blues Stew." Has a handwritten notes on a blank cover.

The vinyl disc is in VG-EX condition

The Complete released New Faces at Newport is a split album by pianist Randy Weston's trio and vibraphonist Lem Winchester's quartet which was recorded in 1958 at the Newport Jazz Festival and released on the MetroJazz label. This test pressing contains The Randy Weston Trio
