Description

 This auction is for The Rankin/Bass 2 LP set production of "The Hobbit".  The complete original soundtrack including dialogue, music and songs.  This is based on the original version of "The Hobbit" written by J.R.R. Tolkien.  This is the deluxe 2 record set including a special edition book.  It was recorded under the Buena Vista Record label.  The number on the front is 103, released in 1977.

The book is a 16 page book of full color illustrations from the animated motion picture.  The records are in excellent condition with no scratches that I can see.  I listened to both of them and there are no skips.  The sleeves are not torn, slightly yellowed from age.  The book is also in great shape.  The box does show some wear from age.

This is from my personal collection.  I purchased this in high school.  It has been stored for many years in my record cabinet.  It is from a smoke free/pet free home.  Thanks for looking.
