Description
Found a couple other copies of this rare and classic Vocalion Race Records sleeve. Great graphics of 1920's vamp and seated guitar player. On the back are listed records by Tampa Red & Georgia Tom, Rev. A.W. Nix, Frankie "Half-Pint" Jaxon, Bessemer Sunset Four, Leroy Carr, Jimmy Noone’s Apex Club Orchestra, "Pine Top" Smith, Jim Jackson, Lulu Jackson. This one is in nice condition with slight creases & some soiling at bottom corners & along bottom edge on back, no writing, some outline of stored record, slight white blotch somewhat above & between the "o" and "n" in "Vocalion" that looks to be a scuff, slight white fleck to left of the dot on the "i" in "Vocalion" that seems to be a printing glitch, very light surface tear across printed border on upper left on back that leaves a lighter stretch (about 1/4") of the border at that point. Really captures the whole era!
