Description
Rare 1934 exploitation record produced by Brunswick for use in theatres to promote the film "Dames" featuring Dick Powell, Ruby Keeler, Joan Blondell, and Zasu Pitts. Four tune segments from the movie are played: "Try To See It My Way," "I Only Have Eyes For You (Powell)," "Dames," and "When You Were A Smile On Your Mother's Lips (Powell)." Announcements throughout introduce the stars of the film, mention "a bevy of beautiful girls" and other highlights, and state that the tunes have been recorded by such (Brunswick) orchestras as Anson Weeks and Hal Kemp. V+ condition.
