Description

Rare 78rpm Ted Fio Rito Orchestra radio broadcast transcription recording  Aluminum Air-check transcription of May 27, 1934 broadcast from CBS station KHJ, Los Angeles. Professionally recorded by Electro-Vox, Inc., Los Angeles Two-sided 12-inch uncoated aluminum recording at 78rpm. Contains two parts of Lady Esther Program of May 27, 1934 On one side Ted Fio Rito plays "Stardust", then orchestra plays parts of "Mood Indigo" announcer introduces orchestra playing "Thinking Of You" . . . this side ends abruptly. . . handwriting on label states vocal by Ray Hendricks, but name not mentioned in recording. Reverse side (label missing) is another part of the same broadcast . . Orchestra plays "My Moonlight Madonna", followed by Lady Esther commercial. Sound is Excellent.
