Description

Very rare 1934 Country 78 by Walkers' Corbin Ramblers on Vocalion label # 02771.Great Appalachian type country music band which featured the mayor of Corbin Kentucky named John Walker.Other band members are Larry Hensley on Guitar and Mandolin,Mack Taylor who also played mandolin.I believe Albert Walker is also in the band.Songs titled My Baby Keeps Stealin' Sugar On Me with the song Darktown Strutters Ball on the other side. The My Baby Keeps Stealin' Sugar On Me side of record has multiple very light to light scratches with about 20 scratches feelable with fingernail.Has several scuffing marks with 4 of the scuffing marks feelable with fingernail.Side has some groove wear but still has lots of shine on grooves. The Darktown Strutters Ball side of record has multiple light scratches and also has about 20 scratches feelable with fingernail.Has one 3/8th of an inch scratch that feels deeper than the others.Has multiple scuffing marks. Also has groove wear with some of the individual grooves having some groove greying on this side on this side only. Both labels in terrific shape.Hole in middle in Terrific shape as well.No cracks and no chips at all.I wish I could play test the record but I have no 78 player at this time. This is a Rare one as I've never seen one come up for sale.I have a return for refund policy on all records I sell as long as the item is returned in the same condition as when it left.
