Description
Rare 1950s / 60s Vinyl Record Carrying Case & 16 Single 7" Records, Immaculate
- ITEM DETAILS: This lot comprises the rare and incredibly well preserved soft plastic record carrying case which probably dates from the late 1950s or 1960s, and the sixteen 7" singles it contains which are thrown in free. The case has some marks in the clear plastic sleeves inside through contact and pressure against the records, but this aside it's hard to find fault and it really is as bright as a button. The records all date from the 1960s or early 70s, and they are in generally good to very good visual condition with a few superficial marks, scuffs and scratches, but there are no serious gouges or excessive deep scratching, with many being in extremely good shape. The records are: Cilla: Something Tells Me. Bobby Vee: Bobby Tomorrow. Redd Wayne / Kay Barry: A Little Bitty Tear / Tell me What he Said. Cliff: Summer Holiday. Redd Wayne: Hey! Little Girl. The Temperance Seven: You're Driving me Crazy. Mike Sarne: Bird, You Know I Love Ya. Russ Conway: Primera. Joe Loss: Wheels. Chubby Checker: Let's Twist Again. James Wright Orcherstra: Coronation Street / Maigret Theme. Mark Wynter; Venus in Blue Jeans. Acker Bilk: If You Were The Only Girl in the World. Kathy Kirby: Secret Love. Horst Jankowski: A Walk in the Black Forest, and finally Ken Dodd: Tears. I don't have any equipment on which to test the sound so the records are free with no guarantees, but as always there's a low start and no reserve so happy bidding!
