Description
"The Sounds and Music of the RCA Electronic Music Synthesizer" Arguably the first record set of electronic synthesizer music. Boxed set of four 45rpm records. Although later released in LP format this is the "Experimental" release never sold to the general public. This set was sent by RCA to the record department of a local department store.
This was given to me by a family friend who was the record department manager for many years. I think I listened to the first two records once or twice back in the 70's. Not sure I ever got to the last two. Now I have no way to play 45s.
I am not a vinyl collector and don't claim to be an expert on the grading system - please refer to the pictures. From my limited understanding one disc would probably be VG and two would be VG+. The fourth would be VG+ as well but there is a bubble in the pressing that makes it Poor - again please refer to the pictures.
Box is in poor to fair shape. Face is clear but the spine is heavily worn. All of the original dividers are in the box but there is no information packet that apparently was originally in the box. This is probably more of interest to someone who loves electronic music and would like a unique piece of its history than a serious vinyl collector.
