Description
Chess EP 5125, Bo's only Stateside EP, 4 tracks "Bo Diddley"; "I'm a man"; "Willie and Lillie"; "Bo meets the monster". The cover is typically American thick card that easily deteriorated compared with UK versions of a similar age. It has 2 splits in the upper and lower fold-over edges near to the record entry end. There is also writing down the r/h side of the front cover, otherwise scuff marks and condition is to be expected from a US cover of this age. The record has a small scratch, just detectable by touch, on the first and again on the second track of side one and on the first track of side two, otherwise there are a few small hairline scratches that are not detectable by touch. From an audio perspective there are minor crackles on each track and an occasional click. There is one minor discernible skip on side one track two. Sound output is VG+ All audio has been fully checked using an Audio Technica AT-LP-120-USB direct drive professional turntable while monitoring the "Audacity" spectrographic representation on play through. This record is listed in the 3rd edition of the Goldmine Catalogue of American records at $180 for a near mint copy.
