LOT OF 6 VINTAGE 1950s & 1960s 7" 45 RPM VINYL RECORDS
Featuring an Original SUN Pressing & 5 Rare Promotional DJ Copies!
Up for sale is a killer curated lot of six original vintage 45 RPM singles. This batch features an incredible 1959 rockabilly classic on the legendary Sun Records label alongside five scarce, highly collectible 1960s promotional radio station copies spanning psych, garage rock, and deep soul.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THIS LOT:
1. JERRY LEE LEWIS - "Big Blonde Baby" / "Return of Jerry Lee" (Sun Records - 317)
- Original 1959 classic rockabilly/rock & roll on the legendary Memphis yellow Sun label.
2. S R C - "Morning Mood" / "Black Sheep" (Capitol Records - P-2327)
- Rare 1968 bright yellow "Promotional Record - Not For Sale" copy. Essential, heavy Detroit/Michigan psychedelic rock.
3. THE NIGHTCRAWLERS - "My Butterfly" / "A Basket of Flowers" (Kapp Records - K-826)
- Rare 1967 White Label "Radio Station Copy." Excellent pop-psych/garage rock by the legendary "Little Black Egg" hitmakers.
4. THE SECOND THOUGHT - "Get Ready" / "Slalom" (Brite Leaf - 45-1803)
- Original 1967 pressing on the distinct orange swirl Brite Leaf label. Hard-to-find, obscure garage rock.
5. THE DYNA-TONES - "The Skunk (Part 1)" / "The Skunk (Part 2)" (Atlas-Angletone Records - 2020mx)
- Very rare original early 1960s White Label "Promotion Copy - Not For Sale." Greasy, soulful R&B instrumental dancer.
6. MARIANN - "The Woman In Me" / "As Long As I'm Traveling" (A-Bet Records - 9432)
- Rare 1969 yellow/white label "D.J. Copy." Deep sister-soul/R&B track released on the collectible Nashboro subsidiary label out of Nashville.
CONDITION DETAILS:
Please inspect the high-resolution photos to view the exact label and cosmetic vinyl condition for all six records.
- VINYL SURFACE: Records show varying signs of honest vintage wear, including superficial surface scuffs, light hairlines, and paper marks from historic radio station storage. No cracks or deep structural gouges. (A light professional cleaning is highly recommended before playback to maximize audio performance).
- LABELS: Labels are intact with clear text. As authentic mid-century radio play stock, a few feature typical vintage library marks, light ink signatures, or radio station grease pencil markings that showcase their genuine broadcast history.
SHIPPING & HANDLING:
Packaged with care. The records will be stacked and safely sandwiched between rigid cardboard flats, then placed securely inside a dedicated cardboard 45 RPM record mailer to prevent any bending or cracking. Shipped fast with tracking via USPS Ground Advantage.
