Description
Very rare Smokey Robinson and the Miracles debut LP. Originally released in the UK on the Oriole label as a very limited run in 1963. While contained influential tracks later covered by the Beatles and others it sold quite poorly, as did all early Tamla Motown recorded releases in the UK at this time.
This is the original pressing with matrix xctv65462-2ka and xctv65463-1ka.
The vinyl disc is not bad for age and rarity. I would place it as VG condition as it has a number of noticeable light marks and scuffs on both sides but no heavy scratches and nothing which causes more than some light surface notice in quiet parts of tracks. Plays much better than it looks.
Inner is original and also VG.
Cover as you can see from photos looks ok from the front with some creasing, scuffs and storage wear to laminated front. Rear is not so good with some flip back wear at top, a spine split (about 1cm), a large stain and at the bottom the flip back has come away at sometime and has been repaired with sellotape leaving a stain. At present the flip back is not repaired and will require some tlc to put it right again. Probably Good condition.
