Up for auction is the rare, sought after 1969 Original US Heavy Psych Blues LP "In From The Cold" by Ashkan on Sire/London Records #SES 97017. Visually graded using Goldmine standards, the vinyl rates a near mint with beautiful shine and looks scarcely played. The jacket rates a near mint with no splits or major issues and very light ring wear at the top of the front cover. Comes with the original factory inner sleeve. This is a gorgeous top notch copy not to be missed!!!! Low starting bid and no reserve! Will be shipped in sturdy record mailer with LP outside the inner sleeve. Led by future Fleetwood Mac guitarist Bob Weston, Ashkan were together for only a matter of months before imploding. However, they did leave behind a small but perfectly-formed legacy in the shape of in from the Cold, a blistering, 52-minute slab of turn-of-the-decade British Psychedelic/Progressive Blues Rock. With Weston's frenzied, proto-Metal guitar heroics matched all the way by Steve Bailey's powerful, Spooky Tooth-style lead vocals, the album received encouraging reviews, only for the band to split on the eve of it's release.
