Original 1972 first pressing vinyl in colorful silver foil cover featuring Annette Peacock's first and widely sought after album delivering her multiple vocal and instrumental talents. The album fuses Blues, Jazz, avant garde electronic music (including extensive treatment of her own voice through a Moog synthesiser) and free form poetry and recitations over a bizarre world of complex trippy music...

An incredible record mixing Annette Peacock's synthesizer voice manipulations with freer jazz (Coleman, Bley) and gritty blues rock. amid lots of sound effects that make for quite a listening experience with headphones. In comparison with the Bley Peacock Synthesizer Show record (which originally featured the track I'm The One) this one is more rooted in early seventies rock and blues. The title track is a standout, Pony has rightfully appeared on some rare groove compilations but the haunting Gesture Without Plot as well as the painful, hurt Blood points most directly back to her work with Paul Bley. There hasn't been a record like this since.

CONDITION: The Cover: Everyone knows silver foil covers from way back do not wear well, getting instant scuffs and avrasions...this one, a wildly colorful foil cover is in great shape, VG++ having very little scuffing at all, tiny bottom corner and delete & ding, that's all. Very collectible and a searched for want list item that is only getting more rare by the day
