Up for auction is a rare SEALED original US LP "GP" by Gram Parsons (of the Byrds and Flying Burrito Brothers fame) released on Reprise Records #MS 2123 in 1973. This is the FIRST US promo press with no barcode and the original promo sheet SEALED within the shrink from a private collection and not a later reissue. Gorgeous gatefold original with extremely minor surface wear to the shrink wrap surface. Not a reissue or a reseal so bid with confidence! DO NOT MISS OUT! Low starting bid and no reserve. GP is American singer-songwriter Gram Parsons' debut solo album. It was originally released in a gatefold sleeve in 1973. GP received critical acclaim upon release, but failed to reach the Billboard charts. In the original Rolling Stone review, which individually covered both GP and its follow-up, Grievous Angel, the reviewer praises Gram's vocals and delivery paraphrasing Gram's lyrics, "boy, but he sure can sing".
