- Sold With No Reserves! - As I continue on my trek towards old fartdom, I'll be listing a lot of my way cool LPs, CDs and music-related memorabilia on eBay in the coming months, so be sure to check back every once in a while, won't you? These are from my well-cared-for collection - you won't be disappointed.
Way back when, when I worked in the music business a pal of mine worked for Atlantic Records and occasionally send me some test pressings of their newest releases. This is one of them. It’s Peter Gabriel’s debut solo album from 1977 (yes, I’m that old!). Blank labels on each side never filled in. Pressed by Presswell Records who were Atlantic’s primary pressing plant back in those days. Noted in Dead wax area on side one: ST-C-773801 D. SD 36-147-A. (PR) P. JAMF. Noted in Dead wax area on side two: ST-C-773802 E. SD 36-147-B. REI. JAMF. Hand written on generic white cover: H.R. SD-36147. Overall very nice condition. Good luck ever finding another! Be sure to check the other Atlantic test pressing LPs I’ve also got listed on eBay
I’ve included several large images below for your grading needs.
