Description
Rare and limited to only 500 copies worldwide comes a compilation album from 1987 by the New Musical Express and Strange Fruit Records - Mixed Peel. The John Peel Sessions. This is a selection of original recordings made for The John Peel Show on Radio One. This was originally hand numbered but unfortunately this has faded and is no longer visible on the back of the cover. Recordings span from 1970 featuring T-Rex up until 1987. Other performers include: The Undertones, Madness, New Order, The Slits, Billy Bragg, The Ruts, The Fall, and the Damned and some others. Don’t miss out on something that is both rare and unique.
My grading of both the white label LP and cover is EX. The record has some minor scuffing at the run-in on side one, only producing a slight crackle on the first spoken track. Otherwise, it’s in excellent shape.
