Description

This is an extremely rare original 1987 Stevie Ray Vaughan radio DJ promo vinyl LP for the song "Superstition" (which appeared on the "Live Alive" album).  One side of the record has a "Long Intro" version and the other has a "Short Intro" version.  The album cover shows "For Promotional Only" and has a grid showing how many times is was played on the radio.  It appears it was only played 11 times (between 10/29 - 11/14 of that year).  The DJ was instructed to play the "Short Version" as that was more radio-friendly.  The condition of the vinyl certainly looks like it was only played 11 times.  It is near mint with just a few very light marks.  Labels are perfect.  The labels state "Demonstration Not For Sale".  Please see the numerous pix provided.  I have never seen another one of these.  Great vintage SRV item!  The record was cleaned by an ultrasonic machine (at my local record shop).  Please see my other SRV auction!
