Rare 1990 Elvis Presley That's Alright Russian LP. Melodiya Records
Condition is New
This is the original 1990 White label issue of this Elvis LP. This Lp was pressed in 1990 at former Soviet Union record company Melodiya. A Bit of History: Rock music was illegal for the communist country When the Soviet Union fell the rock music from the decadent west came flooding in. The pressings from Russia surprisingly very good quality, especially if they were mastered in East Germany.
The record has never been played. Unlike records here in the U.S. records were not shrink wrapped. The record is mint. The cover is in VG shape. The Russians used thin cardboard for there record covers which made them wear faster. Someone did write in ink on the bottom left of the LP as seen in the photo.
Also just a note about the label. The white label does not mean that it is a promo like here in the United states. Those sum may push it off as such. The Russian word for promotional is ?????????. That is not located anyplace on the label or the cover.
