I am selling some of my collection of Decca SXL's most of which are high grade.
This one is Karl Bohm's famous and rare recording of the Magic Flute with the Vienna Philharmonic and State Opera Chorus originally taped in 1955. This is the 1960 first release in stereo, in the first issue red plastic wallet; later issues were in a standard box.
The vinyl is superb-- as are the ED1 labels which have no spindle tracks. The plastic sleeve is near-mint. The booklet is mint with no creases or discolouration and retaining original lustre. The original inner sleeves are excellent- a little creased but no damage and still white, each has a very small letter m in the upper rear corner.
This is one of the best copies you are likely to find: but if you don't agree you may return it for a full refund.
Look out for more rare recordings in high grade which I am disposing of. All are part of a personal collection of 1950s,1960s and early 1970s Classical LPs ; most are in excellent or better condition; including several rarities and first pressings, mainly Decca SXLs, EMI ASDs, Angel, and Mercury Living Presence Stereo: De Vito, Kertesz, Oistrakh, Beecham etc. I am happy to receive wants lists if there is something you are particularly looking for.

I grade according to Record Collector Magazine standards and I think you will like these recordings as much as I do; but if you don't, and you are not completely satisfied then everything is returnable.
