Description
Outstanding and rare Texas garage/punk 45 from 1966: The Outcasts, I'm in Pittsburgh (and it's Raining) /Price of Victory. Askel 102, VG to VG- condition: average, visible groove wear; some gloss; faint hair scratches; light dirt on labels, as shown; small edge chip, nig/nap, as shown. Scans made with slightly-increased brightness to aid inspection of condition. A-side dead wax shows TSS and OC-1 repl ; side B shows TSS l660305B and OC-2. Dead wax characters etched, not stamped. TSS = Texas Sound Studio, in San Antonio; while the Askel label is from San Angelo, around 120 miles west of here, the Outcasts were a San Antonio band. An obviously used copy of a very desirable record that plays better than it looks, with minimal noise and no distorts. Seldom offered in any condition.
