Rare 1926 Hot Jazz

DUKE ELLINGTON & HIS KENTUCKY CLUB ORCHESTRA

"IMMIGRATION BLUES"

b/w

"THE CREEPER"

on Vocalion 1077

Great legendary hot jazz.  One of Ellington's rarest records.

Condition is V+...fairly shiny and playable with the surface noise well below the band.  A number of scuffs and light scratches.  However, "The Creeper" has some heat damage that causes a constant sound throughout 3/4's of the side.  The record is totally flat.  The heat damage is annoying but does not drown out the music.   No cracks or  digs.

(For years, this was my only copy and was in my permanent collection until I found an upgrade!)  Played and tested on a Stanton/ Rec-O-Kut 3.5 mil stylus)

Postage charge is $8.50 in the US and $15.00 overseas.  Due to eBay's weird maximum postage system, please wait until the auction closes and I will shoot you an invoice.

I'm an experienced seller, so the record will be VERY well packed and fully insured (domestically).

Contact me with any questions.  Good luck!
