Rare 78 rpm JAZZ Test DUKE ELLINGTON / HORACE HENDERSON on Simplex HEAR

*** 1930s New York Jazz ***
From the collection of a dutch female collector who sadly passed away years ago. Her records where kept by a family member. She started buying Jazz in the early 30s and expanded her taste to Blues when the first pioneering reissues were released in the 50s.  She worked as a translator and for her job she traveled to France, Germany, Italy, England...picking up records along the way.
No idea what the reason was for making this test/acetate, or how the lady had gotten it. It was pressed in Holland, most likely in the mid 1930s. As with some of her other records she had pasted pictures of the artists on the sleeve. I don't know if these are different takes of the songs, I'll leave that to the experts.
