Description

Here is a unique opportunity to purchase this incredibly Rare one off /Unreleased British/JA soul Acetate recorded at the Modern music centre in Turnham Green. The double sided acetate which I’d guess would date from 1967 includes a version of Leon Hayward’s superb RnB dance floor filler Mellow Moonlight’ & the B side is a cover of Otis Redding’s powerful southern soul Ballard ‘These arms of mine’ not much is known about the group ‘Young Otis & the Codaks’ but the acetate was discovered as part of a Jamaican DJ/sound guys collection so the singer & group were possibly Jamaicans who had recently located to the UK. Condition of this historic recording is G+/VG- the acetate does play both sides through without any skips or jumps but as you can hear on the YouTube sound clip for ‘Mellow Moonlight’ there is some crackle throughout. To hear the A side just copy & paste this link below & thank you for Looking.
