Description

This is a super rare version of Aerosmith's 4th album ROCKS. This one is a white label that was used at a radio station. It comes with the original Marketing sheet with details of the record including the tracklisting and some other info used by the label CBS and the radio stations they sent these out to. The cover has a few things written on it as most radio station copies did in order to denote which side is which and because the front cover had no information on it except the gold demonstration stamp. This one has the track numbers of the DJ's favorite songs to spin off of it.

This is definatly a promo/demo of the original vinyl before it was released on May 3rd 1976.  I have seen other promos with white labels but they list the tracks etc.

    The record has a 1 and a 2 written on the labels of the perspective sides in marker but the wax itself is SUPER CLEAN. The record appears Brand new despite being 34 years old.

    I have played it once to ensure there are no skips and it plays fine (I have MP3's of that one time.)

    Rocks is the fourth album by American rock band Aerosmith, released May 3, 1976. Allmusic described Rocks as having "captured Aerosmith at their most raw and rocking".[1] Rocks also ranked #176 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and is also noted in musician Kurt Cobain's top 50 favorite albums in his journals.[2] Additionally, it has greatly influenced several people in the hard rock and heavy metal community, including members of Guns N' Roses and Metallica.[3][4]

    The album was also a commercial success, charting Four singles on the Billboard Hot 100, two of which reached the Top 40 ("Back in the Saddle" and "Last Child"). The album also was one of the first albums to ship platinum when it was released. The album has since gone quadruple platinum.[5]
