Now let me start by saying im not a dealer nor am I a serious record collector although I do have a rather large collection which is not at all relevant to this sale.
Now here's the truth, I went to a charity sale a few weeks ago and they had a bunch of records there, anyway on my way out I had a flick through and I pulled this one out of the middle of some Beethoven and Perry Como, recognising the Vertigo label I decided to take the plunge and handed over a massive "Wait For It" 25p . Now I know if your reading this you are now thinking what a lucky git and to be honest I am, anyway I took it home and a week later I finally got round to playing it, brilliant I loved it especially "All Along The Watchtower" Dylan's classic immortalised by Hendrix and when I thought I had heard it all Lynda Hoyle has smashed it with her jazzy tones simply brilliant. blown away I tried to find some more of their stuff online and to my suprise this little baby turns out to be worth a few bob. now I love music but I love money more, so I took it to my local record dealer who immediatly no questions asked offered £150 I said I would think about it and he upped his price to £180 as i turned to walk away, I told him I would be in touch (Yeah Right). Im not stupid so here we are
Your probably tired reading all that so lets get down to the nitty gritty.

Firstly I have to say it is missing its original Vertigo swirl inner bag, you know how it is when you change a record they sometimes end up in anothers sleeve.
The record itself is bright and shiny and rhe labels are clear and bright, there are a couple of visible scratches but it plays through with no issue no skips or jumps and only a slight crackle in the quiet spots.

Ive tried to take some pictures of the matrix numbers to some success but not the best of quality.

The gatefold sleeve is in pretty good nick there is for want of a better word a bald patch on the front about three inches down from the vertigo swirl on the right hand side (see picture 11) and another little one on the back bottom left (see picture12), not surprising as its almost 50 years old.

Right now for the price im going to list it at auction for £185 thats five pounds above the dealers offer, and if it sells at that im more than happy considering my initial investment of 25p.

I dont really know what else to say but I am happy to answer any questions.
