Description
LANCELOT LAYNE - Yo Tink It Sorf B/W Chant (Jumbie Bead JB-005) Trinidad, 70s
Condition is M- Vinyl and Labels
Super Rare Funk double-sider from Trinidad, 'Yo Tink It Sorf' is an incredible Rapso style number with really hard percussion and intense vocals, perfect for the dancefloor and compiled on the Calypsoul CD. The B-side 'Chant' is a deep, funky tune, both sides are really unique. Ridiculously obscure pressing and probably never seen or heard outside Trinidad itself. There won't be too many opportunities to grab one of these, and this is my only spare copy.
Listen to a clip of both sides of the actual record here:
And please check out my other auctions, I'm listing some really nice stuff this week, including many other Caribbean Funk rarities.
