Description
"Frankie & Johnnie Blues" / "By The Old Oak Tree" Al Bowlly & Ella Logan (Decca F2206)
Very rare and excellent early Bowlly sides, with great accompaniment by young Ella Logan. Bowlly is on guitar too. Condition of both sides is E.

GRADING:
- (E+) plays like new with few signs of aging, no noticeable scratches or other marks. Glossy surface, not dull
- (E) still very shiny, with no visible signs of groove wear (such as greying) but with possibly a few very minor scuffs and very light (inaudible) scratches
- (E-) still shiny but without the lustre of a new record. Possible light wear (but no audible distortion), light scratches and scuffs
- (V+) Surface is not shiny, and there may be greying of the grooves caused by needle wear, as well as scratches and scuffs, but playing is generally free of distortion. Some of the scratches may be deep enough to be audible but they will not allow the stylus to skip or jump
- (V) Record is worn and has scratches, possible "digs", and greying of the grooves. Generally, the record will distort on playing and the scratches and other damage will be audible

Records are sent by either airmail or surface mail, depending on your choice. Surface mail is much slower of course – it can take over a month to the USA for instance.
*Small packet is available up to 2 kg. Heavier packages for overseas will be sent by either ParcelForce Standard or ParcelForce Economy. In all cases, you will be advised of the choices available by e-mail at the end of the auction.
