Description

Superb example of Furtwangler's performance of the Choral Symphony at Bayreuth in 1951. This is one of the best you are likely to find: the vinyl is glossy, the labels near-mint and the sleeves are gorgeous with lovely white reverses.  If you do buy and do not agree, I will refund purchase price and postage.

Look out for my other Furtwangler recordings which I will be listing this week-end.

These are part of a large personal collection of 1950s,1960s and early 1970s Classical LPs I am disposing of; most in excellent or better condition; including several rarities, mainly Decca SXLs, EMI ASDs, Angel, and Mercury Living Presence Stereo:  Furtwangler, Kertesz, Oistrakh, Beecham etc. I am happy to receive wants lists if there is something you are particularly looking for.

I will be listing numbers of them individually throughout the next two weeks or so. So please review my other listings from time to time. All must go and are sold without reserve.

I grade according to Record Collector Magazine standards and I think you will like these recordings as much as I do; but if you don't, and you are not completely satisfied then everything is returnable.

I will give postal discounts for multiple purchases: add 80pence for each extra disc.  And I am happy to ship anywhere in the world.  Please contact me for a quote if you are bidding from outside the UK.

Everything will be send in proffesional mailers with stiffners.
