Description

Rare 2nd State (unpeeled) Beatles “Yesterday and Today” Capitol T2553 mono” Butcher cover, orange inner sleeve (PE 12-2FS) and vinyl record. Ringo’s black V neck is clearly visible under the trunk cover about 3” under the “y” in “Today.” Also note the trunk cover wasn’t pasted over to cover all of the butcher slick under neath on bottom left. No attempts to peel and should be left in this state as many people want to peel leaving unpeeled ones, arguably, more rare. Study the photos carefully and use your zoom to determine your own grade or condition. No seam splits but back cover top left has about a 3” split at the 1/4” fold over flap. #6 west coast pressing, so tougher to peel. Record plays through, is glossy but has minor wear and light scratches if that really matters on this piece. Cover has some small missing paper pieces on left and bottom seams. Normal storage wear . Back cover has some minor ring wear, age spots, minor wear spot on upper right and general wear which is shown in photos. 5 day auction, highest bidder wins! I added a better photo of the front cover since I noticed my original main photo had too much light. Thanks!
