Description
Starting another one of my occasional forays into record selling to make space for others.
For sale the original Official BEATLES Fan Club Seventh Christmas Record, 7", Double Sided. LYN 1970, LYN 1971, 33 1/3 r.p.m, Floppy Disc, with pictured card cover designed by Ringo Starr and his son Zac Starkey.
Floppy Disc is in Excellent (EX) condition - I've owned it since 1970 and it has had minimal plays. It plays perfectly throughout without jumping or sticking. Although there are the inevitable pops or crackles that come with flexidiscs, they are well to the background and do not impinge on listening experience.
The cardboard Cover is in EX- condition. It is fully intact with no tears or marking other than some minimal rubbing to the edges and very minor discolouration on the rear.
Very rare opportunity to acquire this historic disc in such good condition.
I use RC gradings (see below) but try to err on the conservative side, because, firstly, as a collector myself, I know how frustrating it is to receive ‘over-graded’ items and, secondly, I am having to have a clearout over the coming months (years?) and wish to maintain and develop a good reputation. I listen to all records prior to listing.I will endeavour to post all items within 2 working days of Paypal payment (or cheque clearing).

Record Collector Grading System:
M = Mint: Never been played or item still sealed. Cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster (ie contents) are in perfect condition.
Ex = Excellent: Shows some signs of being played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: Obviously been played many times but no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on cover or contents, without any major defects.

Gd = Good: Sound quality has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion. Mild scratches. Cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.
Fair: Still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise - it may even jump. Cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor: Will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc. Cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
