Description

What we have here is the Beatles Fan Club Christmas giveaway Flexidisc. It is original, however the gum on the label has failed with the result that the label is detached from the disc. It IS there to reglued if the buyer wants.

The disc is sleeved in the Fan Club Newletter #2 for Christmas 1963. The disc seems OK (I have NOT played it since acquisition) and is uncreased.....

The general condition of the sleeve should be ascertained from the photographs and is not mint (it's over 40 years old for the love of Mike!)

I have NOT included postage because I don't know how much registered post is yet and I'll trust the buyer to reimburse me after dispatch.

****WARNING****

For those too young to remember Flexidiscs (this one is made by Lyntone) They were microgroove 7" records similar to standard pop records but pressed in a flexible vinyl. Wave them, they won't crack. They were in consequence frequently stuck on magazines, stuck in with LPs (Python did that with one I'm NOT selling) and sent through the post as samples. They won't break, but the Post Office used on occasion to carefully fold the 7" envelopes they came in to get them through the letterbox....they hold creases very well indeed and don't play as well after that.

They come in 33 1/3 rpm (as is this one) and 45 rpm.
