THE BEATLES: 'THE BEATLES' (THE WHITE ALBUM) - ORIGINAL UK 1st PRESSING STEREO - 2 VINYL LP SET - COMPLETE - PCS 7067/8 - IN FAIR CONDITION
Issued in 1968, on the Apple Label, the 2LP set comes complete with its original Top Opening and numbered, 0397662, laminated gatefold sleeve, with 'stereo' printed on the reverse of the sleeve, 4 original de-luxe quality colour prints - one of each Beatle, its Original Poster/Lyric Sheet,(which is complete but has a tear) and only one of the original Black Inner Sleeves.
Both Vinyl LPs are on the Apple Label, With 'Sold in UK' label text - the Side 1 Matrix is YEX 709-1, Side 2 Matrix, YEX 710-2, Side 3 Matrix is YEX 711-1, Side 4 Matrix YEX 712-2.
The four sides of the record labels are bright and unfaded, showing only the faintest spider marks to the spindle areas. All four sides of the two Vinyl Discs are in fair condition with some marks and light scratches.
The gatefold sleeve is in slightly faded condition, , with only the lightest of bruising on the corners. The poster is complete but has a tear which could be easily repaired. The prints are in Excellent condition but unfortunately I can only find one of the original black inner inner sleeves.
The LP set is not in mint condition but would be an excellent addition a collection. I have started the auction at a very reasonable price and have set no reserve.
Note: If you would like to see the front and back of the sleeve I do now have photos of them so please email me. There is some yellowing and a small yellow mark on the back cover (photo shows this clearly) which may have been deposited from another LP is was stored with.
