Up for auction is a beautiful, double lp UK pressing of The Beatles classic "White Album" on UK WHITE COLORED VINYL. This is the pressing that is sought after by so many for its sound quality, as the stampers were made from the original master tapes for this special pressing. This pressing's sound quality by far exceeds the U.S. Capitol white vinyl pressing, the mobile fidelity pressing and most other pressings from around the world. That is why this pressing is very much sought after by Beatles' collectors and audiophiles. The whole package is in excellent condition. The only note to point out are two small corner creases in the cover. They are so slight they won't show in a photograph. This is due in part to the thin paper stock used in this versions' cover as opposed to the heavier cardboard stock used in the original UK releases. The creases are small (one in the upper right and one on the lower back corner) and are hardly noticeable, but I want to point them out to be thorough. The cover retains the original gloss and has absolutely no seam splits to the spine or anywhere else on the cover. Also, there are NO writing or marks of any kind. Both records shine and were cleaned on a VPI record cleaning machine. Upon playback on my VPI turntable, there is NO surface noise or skips on both records. The only note to make is a slight tick at the beginning of the song "Birthday" that quickly fades as the music comes up. Both records shine and retain the original gloss.
