Description

Up for sale is a picture Disk of the “Yesterday and Today” Capitol Records “butcher’ cover. There are indeed several versions of this novelty record available online, but I’ve only been able to locate one of this version from the UK, but it is no longer for sale. It was priced at 60 British Pounds at the time, plus shipping at 15 British pounds. The record itself is in near-mint condition, however the mono recording itself leaves much to be desired, and sounds really compressed and lower fidelity. If you buy this, you are really buying it for the novelty, not the fidelity. The record is sleeved in a “Diskkeeper” sleeve, the original sleeve has a sticker which states an alternate recording of “Can’t Buy Me love” — which is in fact on side B.
