Description

This is the rare 45 RPM issue of two Benny Golson recordings “Crazy Driving Blues”/”No Time for Speed” that were commissioned for public service spots by the Methodist Church. The record was released only to radio stations and is on an unknown label with a catalogue number GRC-5748. Side 1 opens with a few very light tics; Side 2 is MINT. This is an undocumented session, probably ca. 1959. Personnel include Lee Morgan, Jerome Richardson, Art Blakey, Bobby Timmons, and Jymie Merritt. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL.
