Imagine my surprise at finding these 45s in a plastic container of otherwise innocuous record titles from the 60s and 70s.

Research suggests that this label, REB-TIMES RECORDS, is scarce.

We have what may be the total output of their recording studio: records no. 1861 (did they begin their catalog using the year of the start of the U.S. Civil War?) and 1862.   Here are the details:

  • 1861: "Segregation Wagon" and "Move Them Niggers North" by Col. Sharecropper
  • 1862: "We Don't Want Niggers" and "Nigger, Nigger" by the Coon Hunters

The vinyl is still shiny and doesn't exhibit scratches.  I'm sure these records, however, have been listened to more than once by their previous owner.
