Description

Very rare 1970 Japanese 2nd issue of the Black Sabbath LP “Paranoid” on the Philips label.


2nd issue with ¥2000 price on the rear of the sleeve. No Obi. Translucent black vinyl. Gatefold sleeve with Japanese language liner notes and lyrics.

The vinyl visually grades EX+ with only a few very fine, barely visible wispy sleeve removal marks under strong light. It plays really well but with a little very light background crackle heard in between some tracks only. Play grade is EX to EX+ overall.


The sleeve is EX-. A few very small scuff marks on the rear and some light foxing inside the gatefold. See photos. Otherwise very crisp and clean.


Very rare and sought after original Japanese pressing from the year of release. Great sounding and quality Japanese pressing.
