Description
This rare (2) album Box Set was released as a recruiting project during the Vietnam War by the U.S. Air Force. Each album side includes music by the groups/musicians and short interviews by Lt. Frankie Crocker. One side of each LP features: Bob Weir (Grateful Dead), Genya Raven, Jim Croce and Luther Ingram. Bob Weir does several songs including with "Playing In The Band" and sings about "making a revolution" in the middle of this Vietnam era Recruiting pitch. This reeks of court-ordered public service, likely for some drug offense. The ironic history is scintillating! Both vinyl LPs are NM with a white label marked "Vibrations From The United States Air Force". The box itself is EX with no split seems.
