Vinyl is in EXCELLENT Condition!

Seller's Note: The only reason I've been able to turn up a couple copies of this LP is because I had a record store in Indy for nine years and when I closed up the brick and morter location (seven years ago) I decided to keep all the remaining stock and let it age like fine wine. From that stock comes this outstanding limited press album which has of late been consistantly gaining the respect and admiration from collectors of the genre.

Cover shows minor wear & the upper two-thirds of the left hand spine has suffered from the wrath of "cat scratch fever" (you know... where your cat has decided to sharpen his claws along the cover's edge while you're away at work) but the spine was not broken and the record itself was not touched or affected by this in any way whatsoever. The real beauty of this album lies in the grooves of the vinyl which remains unscathed by the wrath of kitty.

The original insert is intact and contains the song lyrics for the vocal tracks and the flip side of the insert waxes poetic with a writing entitled: "The Legend of Hugo Smooth (or one theory)".

Again, let me reinforce the fact that the vinyl is super clean!

Obscure private Bossa Jazz with incredible scat vocals by Joan E. Hall. Heavy latin sounds here. You won't find this in your local store either. Almost impossible to find, even in Indiana, where the record originates! Great breaks and killer precussion interludes. Really, this reminds me of the kind of bossa scat everyone is chasing right now. Would fit right into Gilles Peterson's show, but maybe he doesn't know about it. Most definitely under the radar of most folks.
