Description

This auction is for the Kentucky Fried Chicken "National Winners Song Writing Contest" Promo 45RPM 7" single on MCA label #KFC 006. Includes "Lay Away Your Heart/Where Were You" sung by Brenda Lee. This is an extremely rare Brenda Lee record. There used to be an annual KFC songwriter's contest. Top country artist like Brenda Lee and Barbara Mandrell would record the top two songs. These records were not made available to the general public and are the rarest of rare. Great piece for any KFC collector or audiophile. Good luck ever finding another one of these.    The record is in very good condition with minor background noise. There's light marks which cause some little pops along the way. It plays through fine...nice original unheard of rare copy.
The paper sleeve is in very good condition I'm not sure if it's original. There's writing on both sides of the label. As shown in photos. Please study all photos closely before bidding.
