Description

Rare 78RPM 10" Prewar Cajun

Original Cajun 78 RPM record, Decca 17019, Joseph Falcon, You Are Hard To Please b/w Cleoma Falcon, I Can't Do Without You. Recorded 12 March 1936. Note mis-spelling CAJIN instead of "Cajun" on label.

Record has heavy wear. Playing surface is dull, with numerous scuffs and scratches from use, and quite a bit of label wear as well, but no chips, cracks or other damage. Has more than average background noise corresponding with the surface wear, but still plays well. Despite the wear, still a nice pre-war recording by the original First Couple of Cajun Music and is in G+ condition.

This is part of a rare 78 Pre-war Cajun batch recently located. Rare finds and all being auctioned on the same day. Check or other auctions for the other items.

Carefully packaged and shipped in professional media shipping container. CHECK OUT OUR OTHER LISTINGS – Thousands of quality vintage music from huge acquisitions being added - Cajun, soul, R&B, doo wop, rockabilly, jazz, early rock n’ roll, blues & more. Lots of rarities.
